Where is Fockenstein? How far from Munich? And what is it? Either way; the landscape is beautiful, your dogs are handsome and the hat is lovely! ;)
Fockenstein is above the Tegernsee on the western side. I'd say it about 1 1/2 hours to the trail head and another few hours to the top.As is often the case, there's an excellent Gaststätte on the next mountain.
